There is an age limit as a hostel policy. Guests must be 13 years or older to stay.

● Check-in and reception are between 4 pm and 9 pm. Not available after 9pm.
● Check-out is until 10am.
●It is possible to arrive before 4pm and drop off your luggage at the lobby.
Please note that reception staff are not always available before 4pm.
The main entrance to the lobby is open from 8am, so you can enter the lobby.
There are no lockers in the lobby. Just place it there.

●Hakone Baggage Service (Luggage Delivery Service)
Paid service.
Drop off your luggage at Hakone Yumoto Station and have it delivered to the hostel.

Paid public parking is available at a location nearby (reservation is not possible)
Size: within 2m in height and 1.9m in width.
Costs:1,500 yen for 16 hours, 100 yen added for each hour thereafter.

<motorbikes>
There is a parking lot for several motorbikes just a 2-minute walk from the hostel.
Please let us know if you would like to use it. It costs 1,000 yen per motorbike per night.

You can leave your bike in the hostel lobby.

● How to get to the hostel from Odawara station.
By train,
you can take Hakone Tozan train line to "Hakone-Yumoto" station and transfer to the other car that goes to "Gora" station.
Get off at "Miyanoshita" station and go down the hill. Turn left then it is a 5minute walk.
Lawson (convenience store) is a landmark on the way. Please cross the street and walk 100 m from there. The hostel is on the right side, across the sign of the Fujiya Hotel.

Get on from the bus rotary at the east exit of Odawara Station (Hakone Tozan Bus Stop 3/4, Izu Hakone Bus Stop 5).
After getting off the bus at the "Miyanoshita Onsen" bus stop, walk 100m in the direction the bus is traveling.
The hostel is across the road from the Fujiya Hotel.
*The Hakone Free Pass is valid only for the Hakone Tozan Bus.
*The bus is narrow and may be difficult if you have large luggage.
*Beware of bus sickness.

140 years of history. Japanese classic hotel.You can visit the public areas and garden. Museum (7:00-21:00. Free)
▶ Former Imperial Villa "Kikukaso（菊華荘）" (now Fujiya Hotel Annex, restaurant)
You can take a walk in the Japanese garden.
▶Chamberlain Trail(Dogashima Gorge Promenade.)
40-60 mins hike.
▶From Mt. Sengen（浅間山） to Chisuji Falls（千条の滝）

Close to hostel. Within 1 minute walk. Local communal baths.
Follow local manners and respect those who enter with you.

Private use for each group.
We will make a reservation for you at check-in. However, weekends and holidays may not be available.

Points to note

●Please be sure to check in finish at 21:00. After that, staff will be off duty.
The entrance will be locked from 21:00 to 8:00 the next morning. (You can enter and exit using the key code given to you at check-in)
Please note if you are arriving by plane on the day of check-in. Hakone is far from the airport, so please allow yourself plenty of time as it may take some time due to flight delays or congestion at immigration. Please note that if you are unable to arrive at the hostel by 9pm, we will definitely refuse to let you stay.

●Building over 110 years old (former post office).
No soundproofing throughout. It is easy to hear traffic noise, other guests' voices and noises.
Everyone should be quiet at night.
Please be respectful of others and keep quiet between 22:00- and 8:00.
Free earplugs provided.

●There is no TV.

●Free Wi-Fi available.

●Minimum amenities.
Free: One large and one small towel/per night, disposable slippers. ear plugs.
Toothbrush ¥50
No loungewear or pajamas. Please bring your own if necessary.

● Air conditioning: all rooms

●Age limit: Under the age of 13 are not accepted.

●Pets are not allowed.

●No smoking inside the hostel (e-cigarettes too).
The ashtray is outside the front door.

●No bath tub.
2 shared shower rooms (shampoo, conditioner, body soap available).
2 shared toilets (with washlet).
There is a hair dryer in the washroom.

●Shared kitchenette in the lounge.
Microwave, toaster, and a coffee/tea/hot water,
Small refrigerator and freezer.

●Laundry (1washing machine/1dryer)
Laundry is available at an extra charge.
We will wash and dry your laundry. Please leave it to our staff.
Available time for request: 10:00-19:00.

●Suitable for small groups.  Not suitable for large groups.  Because there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers in the hostel.  And the surrounding hot springs and restaurants are small.  It is difficult for a large number of people to use at the same time.
